DoseFit Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [Legal company name] ("DoseFit," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the DoseFit mobile application, website, content, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By downloading, accessing, registering for, subscribing to, or using DoseFit, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. The Services
DoseFit is a consumer GLP-1 tracking and wellness app that helps users record medication schedules, dose history, injection sites, side effects, weight, hydration, nutrition, reminders, trends, exports, and related wellness information. DoseFit may offer both free features and optional paid features.
DoseFit does not provide medical services, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, medication fulfillment, or emergency care. DoseFit is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Any content, reminders, charts, trends, educational materials, AI outputs, or automated outputs are provided only for general informational, organizational, and self-tracking purposes.
Always consult a physician, pharmacist, dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about medication, dosing, side effects, treatment changes, nutrition, exercise, or health. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call emergency services immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your location, to use the Services. If you are not old enough to form a binding contract, you may use the Services only with consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts and Security
Some features may require you to create an account or sign in with Apple, Google, or another third-party account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep your account, device, password, and access credentials secure.
You may not sell, transfer, rent, or share your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, except to the extent caused by our fault or where applicable law provides otherwise.
4. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information and health-related data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy regarding how we handle personal information, the Privacy Policy controls.
5. Your Data and Content
You retain your rights in personal records, health entries, notes, photos, uploads, imports, and other content you submit to or generate through the Services ("User Data").
To operate the Services, you grant DoseFit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, back up, display, and use your User Data solely to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services and to comply with law, subject to the Privacy Policy.
You also agree that DoseFit may create and use de-identified, anonymous, or aggregated data from User Data for product improvement, reliability analysis, trend research, security, and business purposes, provided the data does not reasonably identify you.
You are responsible for the content you provide. Do not submit information you do not have the right to provide. Be careful before sharing sensitive information in support messages, feedback, public areas, or community features.
6. Apple Health, Health Connect, and Third-Party Connections
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Health Connect, wearable platforms, or other third-party services, you authorize DoseFit to read or process data according to the permissions you grant. You may revoke these permissions through your device or third-party settings.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. DoseFit does not control their availability, accuracy, delays, permission systems, or data practices.
7. Subscriptions, Payments, and Cancellation
DoseFit may be free to download and may offer optional paid subscriptions, trials, or one-time purchases.
- Payment processing. Mobile purchases are typically processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another applicable app store. We generally do not receive your full payment card details.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the deadline required by the applicable app store.
- Cancellation. You must cancel through your Apple ID, Google Play, or the platform where you purchased the subscription. Deleting the DoseFit app or deleting your account does not necessarily cancel your subscription.
- Refunds. Refunds are governed by the rules of the platform where you purchased, such as the Apple Media Services Terms or Google Play Terms.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices or benefits. Where required by law or platform rules, we will provide notice before the change applies, and you may cancel before renewal.
- Free trials. If offered, a free trial may convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled according to the purchase flow and app store rules.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Use the Services to provide medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment, or emergency response;
- Submit unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, exploitative, or harmful content;
- Reverse engineer, copy, modify, hack, bypass security measures, or attempt to extract source code;
- Interfere with the Services, servers, networks, payment systems, subscription validation, or security features;
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated methods to misuse the Services;
- Impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or access another person's account without permission;
- Upload malware, viruses, or destructive code;
- Use the Services for resale, competitive analysis, model training, or non-personal commercial purposes without our written permission.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination.
9. Intellectual Property
DoseFit and the software, interface, design, text, graphics, trademarks, logos, databases, algorithms, content, and other materials included in the Services are owned by DoseFit or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, distribute, publicly display, modify, translate, sell, license, rent, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit the Services or content.
10. AI and Automated Features
If DoseFit offers AI-powered, automated, smart question-answering, food recognition, trend interpretation, or educational features, you understand and agree that:
- AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your individual circumstances;
- AI outputs are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dose recommendations, or professional advice;
- You must verify outputs before relying on them and consult qualified professionals before making health or medication decisions;
- You should not submit unnecessary sensitive information, information about others, or information you are not authorized to provide;
- Similar inputs may produce similar outputs for different users, and you do not have rights in outputs generated for other users;
- We may use de-identified or aggregated data to improve features as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Community Features, Public Content, and Feedback
If DoseFit offers community, commenting, forum, profile, feedback, or sharing features, content you post may be visible to other users or the public and may be saved, copied, screenshotted, indexed, or redistributed by others. Consider carefully before sharing health experiences, medication details, side effects, photos, or other sensitive information.
If you send suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you allow DoseFit to use them without restriction or compensation for product improvement, development, and business purposes. This does not change your rights in personal health records covered by the Privacy Policy.
12. Third-Party Services
DoseFit may use or link to third-party services, such as:
- Apple iCloud, Apple Health, and the Apple App Store;
- Google Firebase, Health Connect, and Google Play;
- Cloud databases, authentication providers, crash reporting, customer support, email, analytics, subscription management, and security tools;
- RevenueCat, Supabase, Sentry or Crashlytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, Zendesk, or comparable vendors.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, accuracy, security, or data practices, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
13. Updates and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services, including free or paid features. Some features require an internet connection, device permissions, operating system compatibility, platform services, or third-party services. You are responsible for maintaining your device, battery, network connection, system updates, and permissions.
We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may export or delete data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, create security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the Services. Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property, User Data licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and general provisions.
Terminating the Services or deleting the app does not necessarily cancel an app store subscription. You must cancel through the platform where you purchased.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." DoseFit disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and security.
DoseFit does not guarantee that reminders, records, charts, trends, imported data, third-party data, AI outputs, or educational content will be accurate, complete, timely, or appropriate for your individual health circumstances. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on the Services.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoseFit and its affiliates, employees, officers, agents, vendors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, health-related outcomes, or cost of substitute services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoseFit's total liability for all claims related to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to DoseFit in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability or USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless DoseFit and its affiliates, employees, officers, agents, vendors, and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, and costs arising from your violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the Services, infringement of third-party rights, submission of unlawful content, or misuse of the Services.
18. Dispute Resolution, Class Action Waiver, and Arbitration
This section is a draft and should be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.
You and DoseFit agree to first try to resolve disputes informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by individual binding arbitration under the rules of [arbitration provider, e.g. the American Arbitration Association], with the arbitration held in [location] and governed by [applicable law].
You and DoseFit agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. If applicable law does not permit mandatory arbitration or a class action waiver for a particular claim, this section will apply only to the maximum extent permitted.
You may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@dosefit.life within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Your email must include the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out," the email associated with your account, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by [applicable law], without regard to conflict of law rules. For disputes not subject to arbitration, you and DoseFit consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [venue].
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the website, in-app notice, email, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.
21. General Provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and DoseFit regarding the Services.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or asset transfer.
- Force majeure. We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Contact. Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@dosefit.life.
